Our Design Process

We begin with a collaborative kick-off meeting to gain a detailed understanding of your goals. In-house charrette sessions are then held to conceptualize a design solution which we present back to you for review and further refinement.

Throughout all design phases, detailed analysis of critical spaces are conducted in the form of renderings, photometric studies, and to-scale mockups and comparisons using samples of fixtures provided by the various manufacturers.

Our design and production teams work closely with architects, electricians, and other collaborators, to ensure light layouts and other details are in alignment and all other important requirements for the final drawing set are delivered.

During the construction administration phase, as your project starts to take shape in the real world, site visits are often made to confirm proper design intent is met and all progress is documented and reported back to the appropriate teams.

As a final step in most projects, we recommend a site visit for our designers to assist in light focusing and level setting. An artistic eye for detail and working knowledge of the design are crucial for maximizing the aesthetic and safety goals.

Procurement & Logistics

As the design moves through the development and bidding process, we provide real-time budget analysis to validate pricing, checking for availability, sourcing, warranty and maintainability. The direct relationship between our design and procurement team means your design intent is always a priority, and any alternates or value engineering phases are handled with the care you deserve.

Our procurement department also provides a single source location for owners and contractors to obtain every fixture as designed for the project. Our warehousing services aids in the logistics and organization of deliveries, consolidating and marking packages to optimize costs and handling. This streamlined approach means less risk and coordination time in the field.
